MAC Extra Dimensions Blush in Just A Pinch Review

Like the MAC Extra Dimensions Skinfinish I previously reviewed, the Extra Dimensions blushes also really caught my eyes. I have dry skin so I love a blush that gives a glow to the cheeks.

You get 4 grams of product for $33 CAD ($8.25/g). Comparatively, the NARs blushes are $38 for 4.8g ($7.92/g), the Tarte blushes are $35 for 5.6g  ($6.25/g) and the Too Faced Love Flush blushes are $32 for 6g ($5.33/g). So these Extra Dimensions blushes are a bit more expensive than the average. They come in the classic MAC blush packaging and like the Extra Dimensions Skinfinish, it has the same imprint on the product.

They come in 11 shades. The shade Just A Pinch appealed to me the most. It's a warm, medium coral-peach shade with gold shimmer, which reminds me of the Nars Blush in Orgasm. It gives the cheeks a really nice, glowy look so you can even skip out on highlighter with this blush. Since this shade doesn't have strong colour, you can use it as both a stand alone blush or as a blush topper.

As with most MAC products, I really enjoy the formula. It goes on smoothly and evenly and doesn’t look powdery on the skin. It’s quite pigmented, blends out easily and stays on all day! It almost feels like a cream and with it's formula, it picks up better with a duo fibre synthetic brush.

I'm glad that these are permanent because I really want to pick up more! They are pretty pricey but if you love a glowy cheek, these are for you! At the moment, this has to be my favourite high end blush! If it wasn't for the price, I'd give it 5 stars.
