Petitfee Black Pearl and Gold Hydrogel Eye Patches First Impressions Review
I have always wanted to try out eye patches so when I saw these on eBay for only $13 (CAD) for 30 pairs I just had to try them out! For the price I was skeptical about these but it had good reviews so I ended up ordering them. This is my first time trying eye patches and here's my experience with these.
The eye patches came in a simple white and gold jar with a twist off lid. You also get a small spatula along with it to help pick up individual patches. The patches are a curved pear shape. I'm not exactly sure which way you're supposed to wear them but I used the larger side near my inner corners and that worked out well for me. The patches are a gorgeous black colour with gold sparkles as you can see in the image below.

Application:
After cleansing and toning, I put these on under my eyes. They felt very cooling and refreshing but I did experience a slight tingling sensation. These have a strong perfume scent but they didn't irritate my sensitive eyes. The patches didn't slip and slid as much as I thought they would; they sat on the skin pretty well. After about 20-30 minutes the patches started drying up so I took them off.
Results:
After taking these off I was surprised to see that my eye area actually looked visibly brighter! My under eye area felt moisturized but the skin wasn’t wet or sticky. Thus these can be used in the morning and they shouldn't effect the application of your makeup. Before putting these on I had a lot of redness under my eyes and after taking these off the redness was all gone. I don't have puffiness under my eyes so I can’t speak for it's effects on that. I really enjoyed these so I’ll defiantly use these as a temporary pick me up. I can't wait to try these out on my mom and see how they work on her.
I think this a great, affordable product! I totally recommend these! Would I repurchase? Well since these are the only eye patches I have ever tried, I’d like to try out other brands as well before I consider repurchasing.
